Aloha Grapes Gang —

Grapes hopes that all of you had a wonderful New Year's celebration.

For us, 2018 has started off with more than fireworks since we've moved back into our newly renovated house. Assimilating into a new home takes a lot of energy, but not so much as to waking up this past Saturday morning to the thought that Armageddon was 20-minutes away! Fortunately, it was a false alarm. I know that there was a lot of anger and frustration as to why it happen, but on a positive note it did confirm what was important to me, which was my love for my beautiful wife, my sisters and their significant others, and the countless friends we've befriended.

So let's start 2018 all over again by wishing each other love, peace and good health—Randy

Buried Treasures –

In doing my annual inventory, I discovered some treasures hidden beneath open cases of wine. So this Thursday's tasting will feature Gruet's Sauvage Blanc de Blanc Brut, and from Spain a trio of great wines: Triton's Tinta de Toro from Zamora Spain, Paso a Paso's Tempranillo from La Mancha and Vivanco's Crianza from the Rioja district, plus one of Grapes's secret surprises.

Looking forward to seeing you and your friends this Thursday.
